Yesterday, President Obama's Press Secretary said, "This is just another data point the Republicans are using to try to sabotage the Affordable Care Act".

Now, "sabotage" is a pretty strong word. It means that the enemy is blowing up bridges, cutting telephone wires, poisoning water supplies, and so on.

Uh, just what acts of sabotage is he referring to that the Republicans are doing? Last time I looked, the republicans have not been able to do ANYTHING to stop or cripple PPACA. Is the Press Secretary suggesting that the Republican SEAL Team hasinfiltrated those who designed and implemented PPACA?

Seems that Democrats have had total control of PPACA from the beginning until today, by themselves, alone... It's their baby and like all Democrat fathers, they are leaving it fatherless...

Signing it meant that I declared under oath that I had never had any affiliation with any of the groups. This was 1966 and by that time, The John Birch Society was on the list. Later that year during my Army pre-induction physical, I was asked to sign another such listing of subversive groups and The John Birch Society was on that list, too.

I never had any such contact with that group other than supporting Goldwater in 1964 as a helper for the Young Americans for Freedom. Since then, I just watched the Walter Cronkite lies during Vietnam and Sam Donaldson disrespect President Reagan.

I don't know anything about The John Birch Society today nor am I curious. There comes a time when you "just give up on life and just want to be comfortable". (Seinfeld :))...

There is a condition known as the Charles Bonnet Syndrome. This condition results from the severe loss of vision. Such loss of vision can take place over a lifetime until  some threshold is reaches usually in later life when the condition manifests itself.

The visual effect is to 'see' images that are not there even with the eyes open. Such images can take the form of grotesque faces, geometric patterns, predatory animal faces and fangs, and so on.

The question is, why do the images have to take on those characteristics? Why faces that turn into skulls, faces that morph into death masks? Why wide open bear and baboon fangs faces, snake fangs ready to strike?

Instead, why would such images not be Brigette Bardot in a bikini? :)
