Okay, while we are waxing nostalgic, take note of the line, "...to go where no man has gone before"... yes, the word is "man"... can there be any doubt but that there are differences between men and women?... as my foster granmother would likely have said if she had thought about it, "If God had intended men and women to be the same, He would have left out one or the other." ... She was a wise woman.
By the way, thanks to my Mother (a woman, of course :)), I have a personalized Gene Roddenberry autograph...and, no, it is not for sale for less than a trillion dollars... :)
